BUBBLES get primed to host the East Coast Music Awards Gala
live on CBC television February 27th
It’s going to be a party to remember in Charlottetown
this February as the Trailer Park Boys take to the road,
from the trailer park, across the Confederation Bridge,
to the stage at the Civic Centre in Charlottetown, PEI,
on February 27th, to host the East Coast Music Awards gala!
Will the boys survive the trip in the dead of winter in
their beat-up old car? Will Charlottetown survive the Trailer
Park Boys?
From the well-known Showcase Original series Trailer Park
Boys, actors John Paul Tremblay as “Julian”,
Robb Wells as “Ricky”, and Mike Smith as “Bubbles”
will host the 2006 EAST COAST MUSIC AWARDS show. The ECMA
gala show has had a wide array of talented hosts over the
years, but none with such unique poise, style, and flare
as Julian, Ricky and Bubbles!
"Oh I'm @*$%~*# excited alright! There are probably
all kinds of record company people there and I'm hoping
if I sing some of my songs to them they might want to sign
me to a record deal and I could become a big Country &
Western star. Liquor and Whores is always a big hit down
at the legion so you never know!" says Bubbles from
Trailer Park Boys.
“The producers are really jazzed to have the Trailer
Park Boys host the ECMAs. They are hilarious! Fasten your
seat belts; this show is going to rock!” says Geoff
D’Eon, Executive Producer of A&E for CBC TV Atlantic.
