Born and raised in the Maritimes, John Paul, Robb and Mike have gained international success from their characters on Trailer Park Boys. The three were featured guests on the cross-Canada Fear of the Trailer Park tour with the band Our Lady Peace, and appeared in the Tragically Hip’s music video, The Darkest One. John Paul and Robb both appeared in the U.S. feature film Hole-In-One starring Meatloaf, and collaborated on their first short film, One Last Shot. In 2005, Mike (as Bubbles) played guitar and sang Closer to the Heart with the band Rush and Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies in Canada for Asia, the tsunami benefit concert produced by CBC Television. He has appeared on This Hour has 22 Minutes, and in 2003 he won a Gemini – Viewer’s Choice Award for Favourite Comedian. The Trailer Park Boys show has also won two Gemini Awards - Best Comedy Series in 2004, and Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series in 2005.

The 2006 EAST COAST MUSIC AWARDS gala show wraps up the 2006 East Coast Music Awards & Conference, a five-day, multi-genre east coast music extravaganza, with concerts, emerging artist showcases, a 72-hour jam, trade shows, and artist meet-and-greets.

The 2006 EAST COAST MUSIC AWARDS show will be broadcast live from the Civic Centre in Charlottetown, PEI, on CBC Television Monday, February 27th at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) in all time zones. The Awards show is produced by Geoff D’Eon and Michael Lewis for CBC Television, Jac Gautreau for ECMA, and is produced in association with The East Coast Music Association.
