Cormier has returned from the ECMA conference in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island with the Folk Album of the Year award for his critically acclaimed “The Long River: A Personal Tribute to Gordon Lightfoot”, and kudos for his dynamic new trio. Music industry professionals from home and abroad were bowled over by what J.P. and his band presented throughout the five day conference with their electrifying combined sets of original songs and awe inspiring instrumental showcase pieces.
