Canyon and J. P. Cormier lead ECMA 2007 nominations
(Halifax, NS) ---The East Coast Music Association announced
the 2007 East Coast Music Award nominees today in Halifax.
Leading the list with five nominations is Pictou County’s
George Canyon and Cape Breton’s J.P. Cormier.
Cormier
was nominated for Male Solo Recording of the Year, Bluegrass
Recording of the Year, DVD of the Year, Instrumental Recording
of the Year and Folk Recording of the Year.
