It will be Cormier's last festival appearance before he heads to summer festivals in Alberta. He will also give a mandolin workshop together with Maritime bluegrass mandolin master, and Nova Scotia country music hall of fame inductee, Dale Wood.

Carl Elliott, a multi-ECMA award recipient, including the 2005 Stompin' Tom Pioneer award, will be featured at the Texas Swing fiddle/guitar workshop along with his sons Bill and Mike. The Elliotts will release their new CD, Family Tradition, at this festival.

Other workshops include voice/harmony with Madison, Kelly and friends and a beginner fiddle workshop by Martha Murphy, returning to Nova Scotia from Chicago.

There is also a Saturday morning open mic session. Bring your lawn chairs and instruments.
