announces award nominees!

The East Coast Music Association is pleased to announce
125 nominations in 25 music categories and 68 industry nominations
in 14 categories for 2005.
J.P. CORMIER double nominee
- Instrumental Album of the Year and Bluegrass Album of
the Year for "X8... a mandolin collection".

The ECMAs will take place in
Sydney, Cape Breton, February 17-20, and will culminate
in the ECMA Awards Gala Show, broadcast on CBC Television,
Sunday, February 20 starting at 8 p.m. in all time zones
(8:30 NT). Canadian country music star, Nova Scotia native
and multiple ECMA nominee George Canyon will host the live
broadcast.

for the ECMA 2005 Gala Awards Show at Sydney’s Centre
200 will go on sale Friday, December 17 at 9 a.m. by phoning
