MIANS
Announces Nominations For Music & Industry Awards
As Part Of NSMW/RendezVous Folk! 2004
(Halifax, NS) – The Music Industry Association of
Nova Scotia (MIANS) is pleased to announce nominations
for the Music and Industry Awards as part of Nova Scotia
Music Week/RendezVous Folk! 2004 at the Delta Halifax,
November 18-21, 2004.
Joel
Plaskett and Buck 65 lead the pack with five music nominations,
while Susan Crowe, Gordie Sampson, George Canyon each
have four. Sons of Maxwell, JP Cormier, Dave Gunning,
BLOU, and Andrea England receive three nominations each.

Alliance Canada is a registered non-profit organization
dedicated to encourage, support and advance Canadian performing
folk arts in all their cultural diversity. Membership
is open to and includes individuals and organizations
active, directly and substantially, in the fields of folk
music, dance and the related performing arts.
