Hi Folks:

We have received terrible news in the last few days of the passing of two very good friends.

Frank Sampson (father to Gordie) passed away on Monday evening after a long bout with cancer. Please keep Gordie and Flo and all the rest of their family in your prayers.

Also, Barry Harvey (Gordon Lightfoot's manager) died suddenly of a massive heart attack on Tuesday morning. He was a great friend to us and helped us immeasurably through the last few years, including his encouragement to put out "The Long River", my tibute to Gordon. He will
be sorely missed by us and definitely by Mr. Lightfoot who had worked with him since 1981.

Such awful things to happen to such good people at this festive time of year. As we celebrate the birth of Christ this December let us keep close in our thoughts and prayers these and others who are less fortunate than ourselves.
